Nachum Dershowitz教授
以色列臺拉維夫大學資訊科學學院教授

Nachum Dershowitz教授任教於以色列臺拉維夫大學的資訊科學學院，主要研究領域為：理論計算(theoretical computing)、AI人工智慧、程式語言、軟體工程、人文計算(computational humanities)、歷史手稿分析以及電子商務。近年，Dershowitz教授主要致力於歷史手稿分析之電腦工具的開發與研究，並曾參與The Responsa Project、The Friedberg Genizah Project等研究計畫。

Dershowitz教授曾於2007、2008年受邀至美國微軟公司擔任訪問研究員，於2012年至中國北京清華大學擔任春季客座教授。他目前是IEEE Symposium on Logic in Computer Science (LICS，http://lics.rwth-aachen.de/index.html)委員會成員，同時也是丹･大衛獎(The Dan David Prize)的審查委員，該獎項授予在科學、藝術與人文方面有突出貢獻的個人與研究團體，獎勵學術發展與創新研究。此外，他還是計算機協會Association of Computing Machinery(ACM，http://www.acm.org/)的學術期刊 Journal of the ACM、和印度數學史學會Indian Society for History of Mathematics會刊Ganita Bharati的編輯委員。

Dershowitz教授的主要著作有Calendrical Calculations, 3rd Edition (2008)與Calendrical Tabulations, 1900-2200 (2002)等，並於2009年獲得IEEE研討會「eHeritage and Digital Art Preservation」頒布的Best Paper Award，2011年時於Conference on Automated Deduction(CADE)榮獲Herbrand Award for Distinguished Contributions to Automated Deduction獎項，彰顯其在自動推論領域上的卓越貢獻。
